In Korean, there are ‘-요 ending’ and ‘-니다 ending.’
Formal ‘hi’ can be ‘안녕하세요?’ and ‘안녕하십니까?’
And for an informal way, ‘안녕?’ Try saying 안녕하세요 to the person in front of you in Korean.
